All children are expected to wear the school’s uniform. This promotes
• a sense of belonging
• a good working attitude
• a respectful and unified environment
As outlined in our pupil parent year book;
Girls:
Grey/black pinafore dress, grey/black school trousers, skirt or grey/black school shorts in the summer term
Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan
Gold polo shirt and appropriate outdoor shoes.
A blue & white/yellow & white summer dress can be worn in the summer term.
Boys:
Grey/black trousers or shorts in the summer term
Royal blue sweatshirt
Gold polo shirt and appropriate outdoor shoes.
All children should have indoor plimsolls.
PE kits: Children wear a white t-shirt, blue/black shorts (knee length cycling shorts are appropriate, no shorter, in the summer term) blue/black jogging bottoms or blue/black tracksuit bottoms.
A school jumper or cardigan can be worn especially when the weather is colder in the winter months. If your child is not warm enough on P.E. days, please ensure that they have a suitable coat/jacket and they may need some thermal underwear underneath (white or black).
In addition, children should come to school with appropriate hair styles (not coloured) and no body marking (tattoos) presenting themselves clean tidy and ready for the school day.
We encourage parents to donate uniform that is of no use and we strongly advise that all school uniform is name tagged.
The exceptions to this rule are earring studs in pierced ears and watches. We ask the children to remove these objects during P.E., to prevent them from causing injury. All long hair should be tied back during P.E. lessons.
