If you would like your child to attend St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, a Voluntary Academy Retford, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.  Please complete the application form and additional information form and send into the school office.  You should also apply for a place through the County Council by completing the application form titled 'APPLY FOR A PLACE' on the Notts County Council website link at the bottom of this page

Parents are encouraged to: apply on time, make 4 preferences and carefully consider the admission over-subscription criteria for the school(s) they prefer. 

Primary to secondary transfer (year 7)

Open:

5 August 2019

Close:

31 October 2019

 

First admission (reception)

Open:

4 November 2019

Close:

15 January 2020

 

Infant to junior transfer (year 3)

Open:

4 November 2019

Close:

15 January 2020

Appeals 

 

Parents who intend to make an appeal against the Governing Body’s decision to refuse admission must submit a notice of appeal. Such notice should be sent to the Clerk to Governors at the school’s address;

Appeal hearings will be held in accordance with the timescales specified in the DfE Admission Appeals Code. Details of the timeline will be made available to parents who indicate that they intend to make an appeal.
