In-Year Applications
School participates in Nottinghamshire County Council’s in-year coordinated scheme and all applications for in-year school places should be made directly to Nottinghamshire County Council. Information about how to apply and the timescale for processing applications is available at Changing school in-year | Nottinghamshire County Council. Parents must also complete an application for a school place via the local authority co-ordinated admission arrangements team via the link https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/education/school-admissions/apply-for-a-school-place or call them on 03005008080, or by completing and mailing an application form (PDF).
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for the year, will be applied. See our school admission policy below. Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application.
If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list. Please see the admission arrangements for more details.
You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible. Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of receipt.
You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful.
If you have any questions in relation to in-year admissions please contact Mr Hilton Head Teacher on 01777 702850. You may also wish to discuss in-year applications with the local authority via the contact details provided above.
