The church will be celebrating its 60th year on Sunday 23rd June with candidates for confirmation taking part in the sacrament during the mass.  The Bishop will be attending and other local dignitaries.  Mass is between 9:30am – 10:30am.  After mass the church hall will be open for refreshments and a shared buffet.

We pray for all the children preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation.

For our Confirmation Candidates;

may the light of Christ help us to see your brightness

reflected through God’s glory in the world around us,

Lord of light:

Shine through us.

For the Confirmation Candidates

may the light of Christ and the promise of eternal life

turn the darkness of sadness and despair you encounter

into the joy of hope and peace.

Lord of light:

Shine through us.

Listen to the words of the prophet Isaiah

The LORD God is waiting to show you how kind he is and to have pity on you.

The LORD always does right,

And he blesses everyone who trusts him.

The word of the Lord.

Response: Thanks be to God
